Thank you for reaching out to us, we are excited for the opportunity to meet you. We will collect your contact info, how you heard about us and a brief understanding of how we may be able to help you. Then we set up a time for us to have a video or phone call to get to know each other better.
This is typically a 30 minute video or phone call where we dive a little deeper and get to know each other a little better. Our goal in this call is to learn where you are in the process, your dreams and goals for your home, what your specific needs are, what your timelines are and what is important to you so that we can determine if we will be able to successfully provide an excellent experience and outcome for you. If we appear to be a good fit we will schedule our next meeting. If you haven’t already began dreaming now is definitely the time. Having a collection of pictures and products like a virtual scrap book of ideas will be super helpful as you move forward in your journey. Getting a grasp on functional requirements like room size, number of baths, specialized spaces and future needs will also be of great value and you can use your current residence as a reference point in making these decisions.
This is an in person meeting that takes about an hour. We will further explore your vision and design preferences, functional requirements, site details or needs, we will offer some feed back on budget and explain our process and next steps. If we have successfully revealed the value of our services and earned your confidence we will collect a retainer for our pre construction services and begin the in-depth planning of your dream home.
This is our favorite step in the entire process because we know it is the golden key to excellence, next to getting to see an entirely satisfied and enthused customer enter there dream home of coarse! Our highly intentional in depth planning process is what separates us from every other builder. We walk with our clients through the planning process discussing every detail, every choice and every finish, we will act as your representative to keep the design and construction drawings tracking towards your determined budget, we work with all our trade partners and installers to dissect the work to be performed so expectations can be set and we can discover any potential problems while still in the planning phase, we specifically look at every detail and how they interact together, we do test digs as necessary, we work with engineers and city officials to be sure we are structurally sound and code compliant. The best part is we get to define exactly what a successful outcome looks like to you so we know exactly what we’re shooting for. When the pre-construction planning process is complete we will provide you with a project proposal that clearly lays out the scope of the project, the materials and finishes to be used, all necessary construction drawings, engineering, approvals, section details, a clear timeline and a fixed price that you can be confident about. We are now ready to roll into construction and streamline the project because every piece is set in place. Next we may choose to enter into the building agreement.
This is often where the fun really begins for the home owner because things are actually happening. We will decide a start date, pull the permits, order special order materials (if we haven’t already) and begin site prep, excavation and utilities. Once concrete is placed framing will begin. Now that the structure is up we can bring in each trade in there appropriate sequence all the way to completion. Through out the building process we will provide you with progress updates and do scheduled on site walk throughs so that you can see the progress and remember the journey. The goal in a successful pre-construction planning process is to answer every question and make every decision up front but we will always be available to field further questions and provide an educational experience.
After our team of highly skilled professionals executes our plan with excellence we do a rigorous inspection to do any necessary touch ups add in any specialty pieces and have the house shined top to bottom. If we are providing landscape, that will be happening (weather permitting). Together we will do a walk through inspection and make sure we hit the definition of success we set during planning. We will show you how everything works and present any necessary maintenance schedules or other need to knows. Its here the big day has finally come, right on time, move in day!
Our commitment to your satisfaction doesn’t end when you move in. We stand behind our work and assist in warranties, offer guidance for future maintenance and enhancements and stay connected for any questions. We even do a secondary walk through and touch up after move in incase anything gets nicked during the move in process or you have any questions after being in your new home for the first week.
As already mentioned we are striving for excellence and to achieve the successful outcome we established together.
